Sorry for not having updated since June, but everytime I went to update, my mind went blank. Not to mention, I've been caught up in life outside of the internet quite a bit.

I have now quit smoking for over two weeks, and though I do miss the old habit, it feels good not to have that 'dark cloud' looming over me. I hope I continue like this, as I've not needed the nicotine replacements, nor the ''chewing gum method'' - it's all been done as "cold turkey". I'm very, very proud of myself. cute3

Additionally, I now have college work experience at a place called "Tag! Rescue Centre". It specialises in felines, rodents, etc - sadly, the canines are not in the same location as myself, but overall I believe that's a good thing - it means I won't be tempted to steal the huskies... I've also recently applied for a job in Canterbury working with canines - I hope to work in both fields by the end of the summer ; more experience, the better really, eh?

I'm continuing to think up new ideas for this site - yet as you can see, haven't got around to doing them. I will do soon, I promise. I've just been caught up in the above, and writing my novel once again. Expect a layout change next week if things don't get over my head, and I'll try to add more content, etc as well. I doubt the portfolio will be done yet - I'm still in the process of sorting my writing out. Sorry folks.

Anyway, I got to run - I need to shower, and have some breakfast, lol. Plus I want to drink my coffee in peace wink3

So, to put a long story short, this week has had a large amount of downs. Firstly, I am now just under a month away from my operation on my cervix (24th July). I'm absolutely terrifyed. More so of the General Anesthetic than the actual operation itself... :/

Secondly, I'm now being booked in for a CT Scan (Scan on my head) to see why I get at least 2 severe headaches (migraines) a day... Woo hoo?

Thirdly, I have begun to quit smoking. I'm an absolute mental mess. Everything I do, and everywhere I go I think about smoking: the cravings have already started, and it's only been a day and a half. Gah. Will I make it? To be honest, I', not sure... I hope so though.

Lastly, I still don't have a job. In all fairness, I've been procrastinating a lot, so it's probably my fault - but at the moment, I really don't care for money and all that jazz. I just want things to be back to normal to some extent; I don't think I could take anymore fuck ups this week angryshout3

That's about all I have to write about at the moment as I need to go and make myself some dinner, and stare at the pc screen until Matt comes over. Fun eh? (The staring part obviously: the Matt part is brilliant kiss3

I swear it only looks as if I've been doing a lot of nothing, especially on here. In reality, I've been pretty busy when it comes to the creative aspects of my mind.

I recently wrote a small piece of erotica. That might be added to the portfolio when I actually get it up and running, but if it's not, you can find it on my Deviant Art account.

I have also submitted a photo-manipulation of myself; I decided to zombifye myself last night, so that is also on my Deviant Art account - comments, etc are greatly appreciated cute3

I've been thinking about submitting some more of my works for publication. I was supposed to be getting a few of my short stories published earlier this year, but the agent lost contact with me (or changed her mind). I might start off with basic magazines, and poetry/writing websites, and then go for something a little more mainstream? I'm not entirely sure, but to be honest, if there's money involved, I could do with it... I'm absolutely skint at the moment, save for the £2-something on my desk.

In other news, I have a new darlink; Jamie - please visit, and give her some love, yeah?

I haven't much else to write about to be honest. Next week I'm really knuckling down on the job hunt/work experience. Monday afternoon (after my exam) I'm heading upto Manston to hand in a few CVs into Animal-Based places, and a few shops as well. That way I'll be hitting two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Oh, as well as that, there's only 6 days until Matt and I celebrate our 3 month anniversary together; I'm very exciting, and very thrilled about that. I was hoping to get him a special gift, but lack of funds is making that very difficult - if I do get the funds, it may be a bit late, but ah well; it's the thought that counts, lol.
